Stress Management and Health
Spending time walking outdoors has a proven impact on both physical and mental health. Research shows that regular walking improves creativity, sleep quality and mental resilience, while significantly reducing stress. The positive effects on the brain and overall wellbeing are well documented. Walking is a simple yet highly effective way to manage stress and support a healthier balance between work and wellbeing.
Psychological Safety
Psychological safety is about creating a work environment where people feel safe to be themselves, contribute and share ideas without fear of negative consequences. Mistakes are seen as a natural part of learning and development, which encourages creativity, innovation and growth.
For organisations, psychological safety enables teams to collaborate more effectively, make decisions faster and handle challenges more successfully. For individuals, it leads to improved wellbeing, reduced stress and a stronger sense of purpose and engagement at work.
Motivational Interviewing (MI)
Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a structured conversation method designed to support and motivate behavioural change. The approach is based on empathy and empowering individuals in their change process, while reducing resistance to change.
MI creates an open, supportive dialogue that encourages reflection, ownership and active engagement in development and transformation.
IMGD – Susan Wheelans model for integrated team development
The Integrated Model of Group Development (IMGD) is a leading research-based model for group dynamics, developed by Dr Susan A. Wheelan and her research team. By reviewing decades of group development research, the Group Development Questionnaire (GDQ) was created to identify and measure a team’s current stage of development.
Research shows that all teams move through these stages, and that teams operating in stages 3 and 4 are significantly more productive and effective. According to Wheelan, team success depends not only on leadership skills, but equally on how team members interact with one another.
SOC– Sense of Coherence
SOC (Sense of Coherence) influences quality of life through three core dimensions: meaningfulness, comprehensibility and manageability. Strengthening these dimensions not only helps maintain health, but actively improves it.
The Goal Matrix
Our method is built on the principles of the Goal Matrix, a model designed to develop shared understanding and collaboration within teams. Research shows that teams working with the Goal Matrix can move from their current development stage to the next, gradually evolving towards higher levels of productivity and effectiveness.
By applying these principles, teams improve collaboration, alignment and their ability to achieve shared goals.
